Putting Our Experience to Work for You
RCK Computer Services is a partnership between two old friends, one with years of experience running a series of customer oriented businesses, the other with two decades of experience as a power user of computers.
We've built dozens of computers with the Gnu/Linux operating system over the last couple of years, written tens of thousands of working lines of perl code, thousands of lines of php and shell scripts, built and managed a dozen or more relational databases, including one with millions of records across a dozen tables.
We've administered application servers, a fax server, a web server, installations of mailman (email list) servers, outcall servers, a linux terminal server project (LTSP) server and multiple (mysql and postgres) database servers. We've built machines accessible to the blind.
We've built and maintained web sites (including one which now amounts to more than 200 mb of material), scripted the dynamic inclusion of new content and set up content management systems.
We've installed and administered extensible open source financial accounting systems and implemented daily backup routines.
We've provided training and support for dozens of users over the years on a wide variety of platforms and with a growing number of software applications.
