At RCK Computer Services, we are here to maximize the value of your computer investment. A computer is only as powerful as its user. With our training and support, you can be a powerful user fully realizing the capacity of your computer.
We offer affordable support and training packages to help you fully realize the power and potential of your IT investments. Whether you are just starting out and need guidance on how to utilize a web browser and email client, or are struggling with how to configure a new application or service on your machine, or want training in database management skills or need to acquaint your office staff with new software; if you want to learn that new desktop publishing software, or how to perform a mail merge, we can help.
We offer phone support for an hourly rate, on-site training for an hourly rate plus travel costs and support contracts for the office or home which anticipates the need for ongoing support and training. We understand how to use computers, install and configure their operatings systems, program in shell, perl and php, manipulate a database using Structured Query Language, and use most of the major software systems currently available. And we can teach you how to do these things as well.
In the future, we hope to develop and offer continuing and adult education classes including Linux 101, Powering your business on Open Source Software and using Linux in a Microsoft World. We also hope to support the development of the Kootenay LUG (Linux Users Group) to help folks from these mountains make an empowered break from monopolisitic software business practices.
